Love Åland

In connection with the celebration of Åland100, Galleri Skarpan's exhibition LOVE Åland is now showing at the Nordic House in Copenhagen, where artist Hülya Tokur Ehres shows photography, watercolor and print.

The exhibition is an initiative of the Art Association in the Nordic House on the occasion of the celebration of Åland's 100 years of autonomy, and is a collaboration between Galleri Skarpans, Åland 100, the Nordic Institute on Åland and the Art Association in the Nordic House.

My creation is a love story. I look at Åland with infinite love. Every day and night, summer and winter, from streets to natural landscapes, from boathouses to glimpses of the sea. It is invaluable to capture the beauty on watercolor paper and with Cyanotypi Alternative Photography, says Hülya Tokur Ehres

The Åland archipelago plays a central role in Tokur Ehre's art. She is interested in the realistic dimension of the natural landscape, as well as the personal interpretation.

The exhibition Love Åland is a declaration of love where Tokur Ehre's creation shows his personal relationship to special Åland places. She is inspired every day by the sea and the beautiful archipelago environment on Åland.

Hülya Tokur Ehres lives on Åland and works with photography and painting. She describes herself first and foremost as a human being, as a person who is inspired by meeting others and by being out in nature. She holds regular art exhibitions.

The exhibition will be rounded off with a finish on 24.3.
