Who wins the Nordic Council Environment Prize 2018 

Do you know a Nordic company, organization or individual who has made a significant contribution to the environment, to protect the sea life? Then you can nomidate your candidate by writing a motivation letter (max 1 A4 page).  The last date to submit your candidate is May 14th 2018. The winner will be published in October 30th 2018 in conjunction with the Nordic Council Session.

Criteria for nomination

The Nordic Council Environment Prize is awarded to a Nordic business, organisation or person that in an examplary way has been able to intregrate environmental considerations in the activities of the company/organization, to his/hers work or extraordinary input done for the environment. Those applying for the prize should have a Nordic perspective, be active in Nordic countries or have a relation to parties in Nordic countries if applying from outside. 

Theme 2018

The Adjudication Committee has chosen the theme in order to promote initiatives that support the UN's new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030, specifically, SDG 14 on “life below water”.
