We follow the authorities' recommendations to help prevent an ev. transmission of the Corona virus, and therefore now canceling certain arrangements. We have carefully considered each and every one of our planned events and this applies to both the Nordic culture that is planned to come to Åland and also the collaborations we have to increase Åland's participation in Nordic cultural collaborations outside of Åland.

We have therefore now decided to cancel the anniversary concert in connection with the Institute's 35th anniversary, on March 29 at Alandica Culture & Congress. We can also inform you that there is a decision to cancel the Creative Writing Camp for young people in Latvia, where we had hoped to send four young people from Åland together with Zandra Lundberg. But with new recommendations concerrning larger crowds and travelers, these two events are being canceled.
