NIPÅ previously announced an opportunity for young people aged 16-17 to report their interest in participating in a creative writing camp on the island of Kihnu in Estonia together with other young people from all over the Baltics April 24-27. Zandra Lundberg will travel with the young people to give them support and travel companions.

• Ellinor Gustavsson

• Julia Eneroth

• Angelina Eklund

• Mira Sagulin

"-These four girls all had wonderful motivations in their expressions of interest! they grow further in their writing, even outside Åland. " says NIPÅ's project manager Helena von Schoultz.

Design and orientation of the workshop

Participants will receive step-by-step guidance on how to write a story, tools for creative writing, tips and techniques for how to build a document and create compelling characters during the record label. The focus will be on short stories so that participants during the workshop will have time to create one or more stories from beginning to end. In the program lectures and instructions are interspersed with time for the participants to work on their own stories, as well as discussions and feedback. Detailed program can be found on nipa.ax. The workshop, which extends over three days, is led by the Danish author Caroline Ørsum. The language is English, but everyone writes in their own native language.

The creative writing camp is part of the larger project Nordic Writers Crossing Borders, and was inspired by a Nordic book project called "- Tomorrow is never a new day".

Accommodation, food and participation fees are covered by the project. NIPÅ books and accounts for all Åland participants' trips.

Zandra Lundberg will accompany you on the journey

As a support and for their help, the Åland participants will bring Zandra Lundberg on the trip. Zandra Lundberg is an Ålandic journalist, blogger and yoga teacher and most recently up-to-date with her show "Go out and be happy your bastard".
