Publicerad Thursday 14 November kl 10:24

The project "Kom med - det gror i Nord" (Come along - it grows in the North) has explored the Nordic identity, culture and history through creative learning processes. The project, together with a professional artist team, has traveled around and visited schools throughout the Nordic region. And with the Nordic Institute on Åland (Nipå), they came to Åland this spring.

Together with teachers and students, the project has created art, written poems and composed new songs - and given the Nordic region a personal expression through music, pictures and words.

The workshops in the various Nordic schools have now resulted in a teaching material consisting of six different activity proposals and a teaching process. Each part can be used individually or advantageously combined.

"Come on - it grows in the North" visited in collaboration with Nipå Källbo school and Geta school in Åland in the spring of 2019, so also the Åland children's input is now used as the basis for the new teaching material.

Read more about and find the teaching material.

If you want to hear an interview done by Åland's radio fromwhen the project was at Åland during this spring, you will find it here.
