Five Nordic films have been nominated for the Nordic Council Film Prize 2021. In one of the films, we see Erik Enge from Åland, in the lead role.

The winner will be revealed on November 2nd and the battle is between the following:

• DENMARK - Flugt 
• FINLAND - Ensilumi
• ICELAND - Alma 
• NORWAY - Gunda 
• SWEDEN - Tigrar

All the nominated films will be presented at the opening of "New Nordic Films" during the Norwegian Film Festival in Haugesund. 

Since 2002, the Nordic Council Film Prize has been awarded to a feature film that is rooted in Nordic culture, possesses high artistic value and constitutes a complete work.
