We want to present the Nordic Bookworm to you! This is a project that wants to lower the threshold for adults to read children's literature from other Nordic countries together with children.
By producing educational support material for a selection of current Nordic children picture books, an early contact to other Nordic countries' litterature can be established, with the help of reading adults.
The aim of the project is partly to promote reading of Nordic children's literature in all the Nordic countries, and partly to open up and profile Nordic children's and young people's literature for both adults and children.
The selection of books is according to nominated books for the Nordic Council's Children and Youth Literature Prize, and more material is planned for this autumn.
The material is searchable and you can filter the the selection according to preference.
