Nordic climate actions in Stockholm

Publicerad Thursday 28 November kl 13:14

Are you worried about climate change and want to see action?

Don't miss Nordic Climate Action Week on December 2nd-13th in Stockholm! The Nordic cooperation then invites Norrsken House to take part of and participate in a number of climate events in connection with the UN climate negotiations, COP25, which takes place in Madrid.

The new vision of Nordic cooperation is that by the 2030 the Nordic Region will be the most sustainable region in the world. Yes, we know that's pretty ambitious, but if we can't do it, then who can? We have the resources, the knowledge, the political platforms and in particular we have climate-conscious citizens who demand change.

The back door to Madrid is located in Stockholm

You do not have to travel to Madrid to participate in and become wiser about what happens when world leaders meet to solve the climate crisis. The Nordic co-operation opens a small backdoor to the climate negotiations, in Stockholm. The purpose is to open up the UN climate negotiations to the public. Then we together can discuss how the Nordic countries can take powerful climate actions and how the Nordic countries can become the world's most sustainable region.

Experts, ministers, NGOs, and last but not least, the climate-friendly public have been invited to the "virtual back door" to COP25. Experts and guests in Madrid will share a direct video link and discuss their expertise and insights in the climate negotiations.

Imagination, play and experiment to create a more sustainable world

There are lots of exciting things for everyone in the extensive program during December 2nd-13th. Listen to the inspiring Renée Voltaire, food philosopher and sustainability visionary, in order to be inspired about more climate-smart food. Or experience the "Climate action festival" on December 7th and use your imagination, play and experiment to create a more sustainable world. Join up with family and friends for an interactive day where you can explore different ways to unleash human creativity for a climate emergency: learn about the ocean's radical future, create new climate-smart foods and flavor combinations, try Minecraft and change the world with architecture, and meet climate influencers from the North.
