Do you work with production of dance in the Nordic or Baltic countries? Would you like to work with a mentor for a year to help you grow and develop as a producer?
We would like to inform you about NB8 Mentoring Program, a capacity-building mentorship program and network for freelance dance producers. The program is intended for managers and producers from all Nordic and Baltic countries. During 2022-23, NB8 will complete two cycles with one-year mentoring programs.
For 2022, eight will be selected through an Open Call. These eight will be matched with an experienced mentor from another country for a year. Applicants are expected to have some education and / or experience of professional leadership work in dance / performing arts.
The Mentoring Year begins in January 2022 in Helsinki, where all selected and their mentors will gather for a three-day workshop January 25-28, 2022.
During the mentorship, you will meet your mentor individually and the year ends with a gathering in Helsinki where you share experiences and lessons. Travel and accommodation will be provided for the selected and the mentors.
The deadline to apply for this Open Call is October 28th, the selection will be made in November.
