Picture of an animal nobody has seen except us.

Registration is now open to workshops for children in the exhibition Djur som ingen sett utom vi

Publicerad Monday 05 November kl 09:00

The exhibition "Djur som ingen sett utom vi" is based on the picture book with the same title by Ulf Stark and Linda Bondestam.

We'll meet Eskaloppen, Celansetten, Smygeln, Vadfisken and many more. They live in a world where it is not always easy to find their place; The dawn is intact and Clumpantropus feels too heavy, while the Idea animal wants to stay in its dream world where the sun is beautiful. "- The publisher

The book received the Nordic Council's Children's and Youth Literature Prize 2017. The year before, it was voted the best Swedish picture book. The exhibition is produced by the Bildmuseet in Umeå and Umeå University, and is now owned by the Nordic Cultural Contact. Linda Bondestam is the artist behind all the paintings shown in the exhibition.

The exhibition is aimed at both young and old children (read adults) - everyone can find inspiration and amazement in the imaginative words and pictures.
