Participating artists / artists

birdpeople (AX)

birdpeople leave the planet's overheated dust and debris behind to the sounds of electricity crackling and humming through the sound curtains of our lives. The rhythms stick to the moment when the sweat starts to break out. Members Amanda Blomqvist, Cecilia Wickström and Jakob Lavonius perform audiovisual pop music from the debut EP which will be released this autumn. During the evening, electronic apocrypha composed by Jakob Lavonius will also be performed.

Jonathan Terry (AX)

With his organic video installations, he examines the existence of the physical object in the digital through the existence of the digital in the physical space. Jonathan Terry is educated at the Oslo Academy of the Arts and at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm.

Marika Markström (SE / AX)

Through painting, sculpture and audiovisual installations, Marika Markström reflects on the traces of our time. Found fragments - carriers of ambiguous layers of meaning - are taken out of context, reworked and displayed again. Marika is educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki and the Malmö Academy of the Arts.

Jorunn Lavonius (AX)

Jorunn Lavonius writes poems for the desk drawer and the stage, revealing fragments and whims about life and death. "I hate to make people uncomfortable, but I can not help it. It is the fears that write about the body and the animal that live inside me. ”

Norah Lång (AX)

Norah Lång is a cross-cultural aspiring journalist with a weakness for ugly culture and small-town originality. Sentimental and rather hesitant, yet enthusiastic about her fleeting notes in sprawling poetry.

Magnus Monn (SE)

Magnus Monn is mainly known as a solo artist under the name Existensminimum, but has a long track record as a musician, producer and songwriter. His electronic compositions are multifaceted and uncompromising. Manic glowsticks in the dark, a crooked smile in the face of accomplished fact.

TMRW (SE)

Through the car windows of an old Volvo, memories accumulate like rubbish on the side of the road. Desolate Ångermanland landscapes, dusty country roads, a smell of asphalt and burnt rubber. Those close to you have left this geography, convinced that life exists in another place. TMRW makes music reminiscent of cracked trance, sink realistic k-pop and Norrland's future fantasies.

In 2015, she released her debut cassette through Ambitious Tapes. The upcoming EP Ångerland will be released at the companies Cherish and Ambitious Tapes on 19 August 2017.
