Exhibitions on the screen - movie with David Hockney

Exhibitions on the screen

Film about David Hockney and iPad art

In connection with the exhibition "It's never too late", where the danish artist Jakob Olsen shows his iPad art, a documentary movie about the legendary British artist David Hockney will be shown at the Nordic Institute on Åland on a few selected occasions.

The film is 80 minutes long and includes in-depth interviews with Hockney and focuses on two best-selling exhibitions held in 2012 and 2016 at the Royal Academy of Art in London.

The film was also voted one of the favorite films at the Vancouver International Film Festival (2017) and we would like to show the film to the Åland audience in connection with this current iPad art exhibition
