NIPÅ continues to work intensively to present digital culture in varoius ways! On Aprril 18th, there will be livepainting with Jonas Wilén at nipalive.ax and YOU can give input on what he should paint. Now we will create art together, through the screen!

Jonas Wilén is an visual artist and illustrator from Åland, primarily associated with his oil paintings exhibited in a number of places in the Nordic countries, but he has also been the creator of several Åland stamps and is known for his fun social satire and detailed illustrations.

The Corona times we now live in have led many to rethink their concepts and create new solutions. NIPÅ's Friday concerts in the NIPALIVE-channel have become a much appreciated element when we cannot meet so many in the same place and NOW we are developing the concept and presenting a live paint session at nipalive.ax for four hole hours! You, who are an IPTV customer at Ålcom, also have the option to just turn the TV on, find channel 65 and you can follow the paintinging session there.

This live-paint session means that you slowly get to see how one of Jonas works of art is growing up and you can even suggest what he should put on the canvas. At nipalive.ax, in connection with the live painting session, we will have a chat feature where you can provide input on what Jonas is going to paint. So while Jonas holds in the brush but YOU can influence what he will paint! If there would come up any inappropriate comments, NIPÅ and Jonas Wilén will take the liberty of opting out of these.

This is a fantastic opportunity to follow an established artist's white canvas to a finnished painting, and in addition to having the opportunity to participate in the creation.
